Jennifer Konyn is the advocate Williamson County students need.

Jennifer Konyn is a dedicated community advocate with deep multi-generational roots in Middle Tennessee.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University with a degree in Child Development, she spent years in research labs studying infant cognition and developmental tracking for children with special needs. Her professional background is a unique blend of executive leadership and hands-on service, having served as the Interim Camp Director at Oak Hill Day Camp and in leadership roles for nonprofits like Awake Tennessee and Daybreak Arts.

Jennifer’s approach to the school system is full-circle, drawing from her own education encompassing both public and private schools. As an advocate for Williamson County Schools, she relies on the expertise of educators while also maintaining a focus on data-driven results and developmental support - and as the mother of two children with special needs, Jennifer also has a personal stake in the long-term success of the public school system.

Jennifer makes her home in Franklin with her husband Matt, their children Aly and Henry, their two dogs Cooper and Atlas, and their beloved cat Purrmione.
